Herbalist Treatment of Buruli Ulcer

Location: Bush dwelling, 5 miles north of Government Health Centre

Ebem, has lived with the traditional herbalist since 2004. Her condition has markedly declined. Neither her parents nor the herbalist will permit her to attend the Plastic Surgery Unit. The herbalist reported in December 05 that "the bone had miraculously come out, the wound was closing"
